Branding & Website Creation

Loma Paloma RV Park

Serving as a Branding and UX Design Generalist, I created the entire website, including a logo, numerous pages, user flows, interactive elements, unified branding, strong SEO,  and efficient site performance.

Challenge #1

Challenge: Logo Creation. This business had never had a logo and the owners were not very branding savvy.

Solution: Create a simple. eye-catching logo that represents their unique name, location, and history.

First-Ever Logo

Strategy:
Paloma is Spanish for ‘dove’, so I chose that imagery to represent the. business name. Based on their industry and audience, I went with a simple design that is easy to recognize and associate with the business.

Brand Continuity:
The green and brown in the logo come from an existing banner that the owners were very proud of. I added orange to round out the palette and give it some brightness; orange is a color often associated with adventure and is widely used in the RV industry.

Technology:
Canva

Challenge #2

Challenge: Website creation. This business had never had a website, and was starting to get lost within all the technological advancements in their industry.

The owners were very out of touch with current technology and while many of their customers at the time were as well, it had become necessary to start reaching a younger audience.

Solution: Create a website that facilitates reaching a younger audience while not alienating the older audience they still catered to.
