For Future is Now Coalition:
Designing inclusive pathways to democratic participation that bridge generational divides and make complex political concepts accessible to all citizens.
Project Overview:
Modernizing Messaging:
Optimizing Design, User Flow, & Content Delivery
As Senior Web Designer, I led strategy for and handled the full redesign of the homepage from an outdated design with bloated copy into a modern, interactive, user-friendly landing page.
Impact-focused Discovery & Research: Conducted stakeholder interviews, analyzed how similar organizations communicate complex missions, and assessed community feedback on accessibility and engagement.
Strategy & Definition: Developed a communication strategy focused on inclusive civic participation, outlined key engagement requirements based on community needs and organizational impact goals, and mapped existing pathways to identify barriers to participation.
Design & Implementation: Created new engagement pathways and responsive digital experiences, strengthened mission-driven brand identity, refined messaging for accessibility and clarity, and produced compelling visual storytelling content.
Impact & Outcomes: The redesigned communication strategy and inclusive design approach expanded community engagement across diverse demographics and strengthened the organization’s capacity for democratic impact.

Challenge: Improving user experience and web design flow while still outlining a massive mission.
I was told that one of the org’s major challenges, historically, had been to dole out its mission and messaging in easily digestible ways that don’t visually or mentally overload users. Another was engaging with more modern, tech-savvy users while not alienating less tech-savvy demographics.
Solution: Design and develop an interactive and highly user-friendly landing page with modern elements that optimize content delivery and keep users engaged longer.

Q&A
Created using Canva, iPhone, & iMovie
I interviewed digital nomads and working RVers about how they work from the road, to help overcome employer objections and fears about hiring non-stationary remote workers.
I was solely responsible for the project from ideation through completion, including question creation, subject sourcing and interviewing, filming and audio recording, editing, and marketing on a variety of social media content and a multi-part series of long-form blogs.
In addition to the person-by-person videos above, I also create question-by-question videos, so each video is the same question answered by each person. This caught the attention of and engaged our target audience much more quickly and effectively. Here’s a short snippet of what that looked like on the website:
